It was early in the morning. All of the publicity team gathered around me, their advisor. We had one and only mission: to insert the Divergent universe to let it be discovered by the external world, the one in which we’re currently living. Everyone was so excited to go on this fabulous trip. We knew we had to be regular within our journal, we needed to explore everything in detail.
Our first stop was Chicago, the city itself as we had to find somewhere to stay in during the entire mission. It was the most difficult thing we had to do: make Chicagoans believe we were among them and win their confidence to reveal their secrets to us. We traveled to Chicago, the one in our own world. We knew a hidden door in the Willis tower would lead us to our final destination.
When we arrived, we were struck by the poverty of this Chicago compared to the one we lived nearby. However, people seemed to be at quite an ease, living their life as they were supposed to depending on Chicago’s government. We were able to “admire” the fence, it was tall, and, to be honest, really unfriendly which created a very uncomfortable feeling inside me which, I hoped, would not grow as our mission will continue.
Already having some contacts, I knew the team and I would be able to sleep at the Erudite Headquarters, my friend told me she discovered unused rooms within the underground that we could use for our mission. And this was our next stop: the giant bean.
