always a question :
how'd you
do this ?
how to skip class without getting caught ?
♕︎ Welcome to this first edition of the Marvellous Advices. Brooke Berkeley at your service. "What an intriguing header !" you might say ! Not so, since I'm here to give you some great advice of the utmost importance. You never know, they might still come in handy !

Today, the question we're asking ourselves, and that some of you are probably asking themselves, is : "How to skip class without getting caught ?". Because I admit, some classes are boring and a waste of time for some of us. I'm not saying they're useless, but I've got my sense of priorities ! I'd like to apologise to all the Candors, who will surely be out of their element at times. I will avenge you next time, I promise <3
1 Planning. Without that, don't bother trying and stay in class ! First, choose the classes you want to skip. Don't skip classes where you have important tests and stuff like that, as this only increases your chances of getting caught. Be logical, man ! If you're skipping class to avoid that, you better be off pretending to be sick and not going to school at all.
2 Action. If you decided to miss a class between two others, the best place to hide is the bathrooms. Here, make sure you change stalls as much as possible so as not to look suspicious, but also, make sure your feet aren't visible ! Don't be silly : unless you're planning to spend an hour doing nothing. Take something to keep you entertained, like a phone (or a book for Erudites)

However, if you're going to be leaving the school all day, then get out as soon as possible. Again, skipping classes is something you should be careful about as there are many consequences. First of all, be as quiet as possible, which means no noise is allowed ! Avoid making contact with people you know, which will waste time and distract you. Ouch, you're an Amity ? Then tell tour friends to help you, with such people, it's the best way to accomplish your plan. Concerning Candors, you need to lnow how to play with your emotions and use them when it'll help you. Stay focused throughout your plan, which means you also need to be confident. Confident to the point of making eye contacts, yes. Because if you avoid someone with your eyes, you'll be even more suspicious. If you're the shy type of person or the "Perfect student" or any of y'all, just don't report us to the teacher, that's not kind.
3 Excuse. (In case you're asked for it after you've successfully completed your course skip, or if, unfortunately, you're caught.) Are you going to tell me that you didn't even think of an excuse ? So you're going to say to your teacher : "Sorry, I skipped your class because I don't like it, I don't like you and that's that".

No, no and no ! Lying is something non-Candors are not afraid of, especially Dauntless'. And if you're a bad liar, keep the excuse as simple as possible. The best lies have elements of truth in them, Erudites can agree with that. So make sure you have a good excuse. Candors, I know this totally isn't your element because you skip class and have to lie but, find a real excuse and try to be helped ! And y'all, don't use relative emergencies as an excuse because it can have repercussions. Come up with anything as long as you can save yourself !

Even if you're a pro of skipping classes, remember to space out the time in between your skip days so you do not arouse the suspicion of adults even if you're almost or are one. Ask trustworthy friends to cover for you if they can, Amitys recommended, so it'll be an added advantage. Be careful !

I hope these advices helped you. Also, this is because I don't want you to get caught by any Instructor. Do you remember that terrible Foreign Languages teacher who threatened us with taking buckets of points from us and our wonderful Factions ? A certain, Mr Berkeley. I totally don't know who it is. I'll be back very soon with new tips. If you need them for a specific question, don't hesitate to send a message to me : Brooke Berkeley !
