Amelia's Library - 2   The Mortal Instruments

Hi, and welcome to this new édition of Amelia's library ! Today we will talk about The Mortal Instruments, a series of six books (written by Cassandra Clare) that got adapted into a movie but also into a show.

The books are about a young girl named Clary who discovers that she belongs to a community of shadowhunters, which are people protecting humanity against demons. But that means she will have to face a lot of dangers, and on top of that an ancient villain is apparently returning.

There is a lot of adventure, some magic, a little bit of romance. The suspense is great, and there are some amazing plot twists. Besides, the characters are all great and unique, and I promise you will never get bored while reading it ! I know that six books can seem huge, but it's pretty quick to read. And for those who want more, there is more as there are a few other books in the same universe, focusing on different characters.
