Helpful Ways To...

Take Notes

Hi and welcome back to "Helpful Ways To..." with me, your host Levi Miller! In this edition we'll be talking about the art of note taking and I'll be giving out my note taking methods!

To start, I usually title my notes with the subject I'm taking notes for and the specific topic we'd be discussing that day. Adding the date is optional, but really helpful if you like organizing by date! This is a really nice way for me to know exactly which topic I'm studying if I do decide to revise before my exams!

Next, I like to order my notes with subsections of the topic, for a smoother way to understand the information! If you have time, adding visual elements (drawings, graphs, charts, etc.) can also help you familiarize yourself with the topic!

Finally, I like to color code my notes. The usage of color in the otherwise boring notes helps me to want to go back and look at them, if only to look at the amazing job I did with the colors

That concludes this edition of “Helpful Ways To. . .”! I hope you find this helpful and I’ll see you all next time! Have a fantastic day!
