Good day, Chicago! I hope all of you are fine. Welcome to the first edition of ‘Choose your character!’ where I will be spotlighting two major characters and you will choose which you like best or maybe one that fits your character, who knows? This article will be spotlighting… Natalie and Beatrice Prior!
You might be wondering, what’s the relationship between said people? I assume you all have noticed the similar last name. Their relationship is mother and daughter! Natalie Prior is the mother of Beatrice Prior and Caleb Prior, but Caleb isn’t our topic for today. Let’s talk about some positive traits of Natalie Prior.
Natalie is a strong person, and a loving mother to both her children. But because of the rules of Abnegation society, it was hard for her to show her love to her children. Somewhere in the novels, Beatrice finds out that her mother was Divergent, and turned out to have grown up among the Dauntless. Natalie has proved herself to be a fearless warrior and has done everything to protect her family. Which isn’t a surprise, because she sacrificed herself to save Beatrice, which proves that her love for Beatrice is unconditional.
Beatrice Prior, the narrator and protagonist of Divergent, is a brilliant and difficult sixteen-year-old young lady. At first, she resides with her mom, father, and sibling in Abnegation, the group zeroed in on benevolence and lowliness, however it's unmistakable as the original opens that she isn't at home there.
